Unlike conventional vineyard tractors the Kubota cab has plenty of legroom. The deck is flat so there's no transmission hump or gear levers to clamber over. The cab is sealed and sound proofed to a low noise level of 79dB(A). Vibration is minimised by the rubber cushion cab mounts and visibility through the full view curved windshield is exceptional. The fully adjustable highback seat with armrests means operators can work comfortably for prolonged periods. All control levers and switches are placed within easy reach and the tilt and telescoping steering wheel allows the operator to select the optimum driving postion. The efficient air-conditioning and heating system lets operators choose either fresh air in or recirculative functions whilst the placement of air vents around the operator keeps the cab temperature constant. The cab also comes with a radio/cassette, easy checker warning panel, front and rear work lights and is completely sealed to keep fine dust out. |

WidthAn overall width of just 1680 millimetres can be achieved, so vines are not damaged. 24 Forward & 24 Reverse Speeds and 4-Wheel DriveKubota's synchro-shuttle transmission provides 24 speeds. The 6 position main shift lever and the "fast/slow" range lever combine to provide 12 speeds while the column mounted "hi/lo" changer provides the remaining 12. Forward and reverse speeds are identical and direction changes are simple, just clutch-shuttle shift-and-go. An optional creep speed cassette can easily be fitted to give another 12 speeds from 0.16 km/h to 0.90 km/h. The bevel gear 4-Wheel Drive transfers power smoothly to the wheels at all steering angles and permits a tighter turning radius. The bevel gears are fully sealed to keep out any dust and dirt. |
