Rotary Rakes
Gentle on the Crop and on the field
The new KRONE single rotor rakes with working widths of
4.2 metres and 4.6 metres feature a multitude of new developments to
make them even cleaner, stronger and easier to use. For example the
rotor disc housing is now maintenance free (no grease nipples!), whilst
the addition of a 13th tine arm allows you to rake more cleanly, even
at higher forward speeds.
Setting a new standard
The new V-tandem axle has a wide diameter allowing it
to follow ground contours more closely. The lateral inclinationcan be
quickly adjusted allowing it to remain perfectly balanced on hilly terrain.
The 3rd idler wheel and chain top link are still offered as options.

Now the rotors can adapt themselves optimally to the contours
of the ground lengthways to the direction of travel. This is possible
due to the new cardanic rotary suspension which is combined with a new
tridem chassis. Each supporting arm consists of 2 different tube elements
which can turn inside each other. The advantage of this mounting is
no ball bearings and significantly reduced wear.
