As the first ride-on mower to incorporate a "glide cut"
three-blade, rear discharge mower deck, the G18 is a facinating
machine. The integrated rear grass catcher is easily emptied from
the driver's seat. Durable gauze like sides on the catcher allow
drawn air to escape forcing the clippings to pack down, maximizing
the collection capacity of the 500 litre grass catcher.
The G18 features Kubota's HST Transmission (Hydrostatic Transmission)
where power is transmitted directly from the engine to the HST
via a shaft, and from the HST to the tyres by means of a gear
train. This results in maximised durability, minimised power loss
and the G18 runs smoother and quieter.
